This is called a wyeconnection (Y) (Figure 10).The voltage and current characteristics ofthe wye-connected AC generator areopposite to that of the delta connection.Voltage between any two lines in a wye-connected AC generator is 1.73 (or )3times any one phase voltage, while linecurrents are equal to phase currents.
