Althougha majority of the symbols and lines are self-explanatory or standard (as described in latermodules), a few unique symbols and conventions must be explained for each drawing. The notesand legends section of a drawing lists and explains any special symbols and conventions used onthe drawing, as illustrated on Figure 5. Also listed in the notes section is any information thedesigner or draftsman felt was necessary to correctly use or understand the drawing.
